Holy Brook Associates is excited to announce that it has chosen Smart Works Reading as our charity of the year.

Smart Works Reading is excited to announce that it has been selected as Holy Brook Associates charity of the year.

We arean accountancy firm and training consultancy that specialises in the SME and charity sectors. The company is Reading-based but works across the Thames Valley, London and further afield. Our team of skilled professionals aim to work in an ethical way and consistently give back to the community.

Supporting women in need into employment

Smart Works Reading tackles a root cause of poverty by supporting women in need into employment. Their simple and effective free service gives clients with a confirmed job interview a tailored coaching session and a high-quality interview outfit, which is theirs to keep. They work individually with every client to help them recognise their key strengths, feel confident, succeed at their interview and ultimately gain economic independence.

Remote interview coaching available during lockdown

During lockdown, Smart Works Reading is delivering the service through video link or on the phone, with specially selected interview outfits being posted to clients.

Holy Brook Associates is already helping Smart Works Reading with training and advice on implementing a new accounts package. We have also offered to support with raising awareness, pro bono work based on a needs-based consultation and with donations and fundraising.
